Patriotic Message: APA History Month Salutes Yasuo Kuniyoshi
Yasuo Kuniyoshi was an American painter, born in Okayama, Japan. He came to the United States in 1906 and studied art in Los Angeles and at the Art Students League in New York City. He visited Europe in 1925 and in 1928. His paintings, drawings, and prints are rich in symbolism and fantasy. They are best seen in the galleries of New York City.

1. Cafeteria Lunch Menu: Lunch today is baked chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy or a deli sandwich. Lunch includes salad bar, seasonal fruit and your choice of milk.
2. Friends on Friday: Meets today during lunch in S6. Friends can help provide a quiet, peaceful spot to eat your lunch. Bring your lunch, friend and/or a quiet game. – Mr. Smothermon
3. Reminder: This is a friendly reminder to all students that no food is allowed outside through the blue breezeway doors. No field is allowed on the field, black top or between the portables. – Office
4. Robotics Club: We meet today after school in classroom S-1 from 3:05 - 4:00 PM. We are starting earlier because I don’t have supervision. We will continue working on completing the circuitry for the red robots. Other members will continue constructing cars out of water bottles and paint stirring sticks. – Mr. Huey
5. Walk-A-Thon: Come today to the track at 4:00PM to support your classmates in the Boys & Girls Club's walk-a-thon against breast cancer. There will be music, a snack bar, and prizes, with a special dance performance by the Bancroft Boys & Girls Club Dance Team at 3:45 in the cafeteria!! – Boys & Girls Club Ases Program
